Bible study

You do not need to know the Bible to begin reading it. Find a quiet moment, ask God for understanding, and start with a short passage.

1. Read. Begin with John 1:1–18. Read slowly, then read it again.

2. Reflect. What does this passage tell you about Jesus? What stands out? What questions would you like to explore?

3. Respond. Consider how what you have read could shape your day. Talk to God about it.

Three themes to explore

God’s love: John 3:16–17; 1 John 4:7–12.
Prayer: Matthew 6:5–13; Philippians 4:6–7.
Hope: John 14:1–3; Revelation 21:1–5.
